CoolSelect Zone
The new Samsung RS21 range Cool Select Zone TM allows you to select the temperature that you need for your food - giving you greater flexibility to ensure that your food remains healthy and fresh.

Quick Cool mode
Chill your drinks more quickly Quick cool allows you to chill your drinks more quickly than in conventional fridges. The timer facility (up to 60 minutes) also means that you no longer have to worry about finding your drinks frozen, having forgotten that you placed them in the freezer.

Soft Freeze mode
Gentle Freezing at -5 degrees Celsius Food gets frozen hard at normal freezing temperature, - 12 degrees Celsius, making it hard to cut and prepare. The Soft Freeze mode means that meat can now be safely stored for a longer period of time (6-10 days) while remaining firm enough to be easily sliced.

Thaw mode
Ideal thawing The Thaw Mode uses high-humidity airflow to defrost your food safely. At -3 degrees, food (particularly meats) will thaw evenly with flavour and nutrients intact. Moisture loss and discolouration are minimised, ensuring your meat is always juicy and delicious.

Cool mode
Improved fruit and vegetable storage at 2 degrees Celsius. Cool mode allows you to store fruits and vegetables at 2 degrees Celsius, cooler than conventional refrigerators. This is the ideal temperature, and means that fruits and vegetables will retain maximum freshness and crispness.

Chill mode
Store Food at - 1 degree Celsius. Chill mode maintains a constant temperature of -1 degree Celsius. At this temperature, moisture within the food is retained, preserving taste and freshness. This allows safer and longer storage of fish and meats than in conventional Refrigerator compartments.

Twin Cooling System
Samsung's unique Twin Cooling system  "independently controls the refrigerator and.: the freezer compartments, using 2 separate evaporators and precise electronic control. This brings superior energy savings, ideal temperature and humidity preservation, and no cross contamination of odours between the refrigerator and the freezer.

R600a
Samsung's 2003 Side by Side range now uses R600a refrigerant. This is recyclable, without damaging the ozone layer or contributing to global warming.

Foldable Shelf
This innovative shelf folds in half, allowing you to place tall containers in your refrigerator.

Tall Dispenser

Frost Free
